Connecting Camley Street is an art installation designed by local young people, including Maiden Lane Estate's Friday night “10-teens" youth club.
Last year, based on feedback from the local community, we asked a group of young residents to help us transform this underpass, located at the northern end of Camley Street. Working with local artists Rochester Square, the group created a series of collages and painted artwork to reflect Camden’s unique identity and culture.
As part of Camden Council’s Community Investment Programme, Camley Street will be a highly sustainable new neighbourhood that will provide affordable homes, improved employment space and green, open spaces for residents. View our CIP project page here: cip.camden.gov.uk/camley-street
We hope you enjoy this immersive experience that celebrates Camden’s strengths and diversity now and moving into the future.
