Camley Street Public Consultation Summer 2022

What is this consultation about?
Camden Council is building new homes and space for businesses on sites that we own on Camley Street. We want to let local people know about what may happen in the area and give you a say on it.

Find out more and have your say about the consultation.

View the CIP project page.

Why should you get involved?
Feedback helps the Council understand what local people’s priorities are for the Camley Street. Your insights will help shape our vision for the area, and what we create here. Consultation was held in summer 2021 to gain a deeper understanding of how local people feel about the area now, which has informed the emerging proposals. Now we would like to give you a say on the masterplan to make sure we are continuing to respond to local priorities.

Will you be able to have your say later?
Yes! We are still early in this process and there is a lot more detail still to go into the proposals. You will be able to have your say on more detailed plans for Camley Street before we make a planning application, one to two years from now.

Camley Street Festival
26th June, 11am-4pm.
Camley Street Underpass, Near 120 Camley Street, N1C 4PG. Find out more about the Camley Street Festival.

The Camley Street Festival is an event for the whole community to come together, with fun activities for all ages, and the opportunity to learn more and contribute to plans for the future Camley Street.

As well as the opportunity to influence the future development, you can immerse yourself in the 'Connecting Camley Street' art installation, created by local young people with local artists Rochester Square, based on feedback from the local community in last year's public consultation. Find out more about the art installation.

Deputy Mayor Nazma Rahman, who has a strong passion for supporting young people and always champions for underrepresented voices to be heard, will officially open the artwork at 1pm. Enjoy work and performances by local artists, complimentary food and drinks for participants, and much more!
