Celebrating another year of progress - CIP

Despite a challenging backdrop, the Community Investment Programme (CIP) has continued to make progress and the 2025 Annual Report demonstrates another strong year of working towards our ambition of delivering 4,850 homes, including 1,800 social rented homes. Currently, we are making progress with four projects across five sites, delivering 332 new homes, 72% of which are affordable.

Key highlights include:

- The opening of award-winning Highgate Newtown Community Centre in May, marking the formal completion of the Highgate Newtown project, which delivered 36 affordable homes and the new community centre. 

- Submitting planning applications for redevelopments on the West Kentish Town Estate and Camley Street.   

- Celebrating opening the Liddell Place workspace in West Hampstead in November, where 20% of desk space has been earmarked at an affordable rate for local Camden businesses.

- "Topping out" Phase 2a on Agar Grove which will deliver 94 new social rented homes for existing residents in Lulworth tower. 

- Multiple awards across the programme: a 2025 RIBA London Award for Maitland Park's sustainable and community-centric design, three awards for Agar Grove at the British Home Awards, and Highgate Newtown Community Centre was recognised at four regional and national awards ceremonies, including Overall Winner at the 2025 NLA Awards and Best Housing Development £20m+ at the Inside Housing Awards.
