Mayor of London visits Agar Grove development

On Tuesday 9th November, the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan visited our Agar Grove development.

Set to be the biggest Passivhaus scheme in the UK, Agar Grove will deliver over 500 new homes. The regeneration of the estate will see the demolition of 112 low rise dwellings and refurbishment of 137 existing properties in Lulworth Tower, an 18-storey block.

In their place, 507 new homes will be created to much higher standards of design, space and environmental sustainability as well as an increase in community and commercial space.

Passivhaus standard means residents will be moving into buildings designed to use a very low amount of heating and reduce carbon emissions at the same time. It also means residents energy bills are reduced by up to 75%.

Built with the support of the Mayor of London, the new homes at Agar Grove are creating an energy-efficient estate that will benefit both current and future generations of Londoners.
