Hat-trick for CIP’s Agar Grove at the British Homes Awards!

We’re proud to share that Agar Grove Phase 1c and Eeko were awarded Sustainable Project of the Year and Sustainable Development of the Year, and Camden Council was named Homebuilder of the Year for the project at the British Homes Awards ceremony held on 6 November 2025.

Delivered by Camden’s Community Investment Programme (CIP), Phase 1c marks the third milestone in the six-phase transformation of Agar Grove, which replaced outdated homes with 125 high-quality, energy-efficient homes, all of which have private outdoor space.

Agar Grove is the UK’s largest estate built to the Passivhaus standard and the biggest project currently under construction by CIP. This provides homes for residents that are better insulated and ventilated - significantly lowering energy costs and carbon emissions during the construction process.

The judging panel praised Agar Grove as a strong, area-improving scheme which sets “a benchmark for sustainable, socially attuned housing that prioritises long-term comfort, performance, and affordability”.

Commenting on Camden as Homebuilder of the Year, the judges hailed Agar Grove as "a commendable example of social and sustainable regeneration.”

They continued: “It is clear that Camden Council as client have led a strong design team to deliver a development with high aspirations in design quality and environmental performance."
