We’re working closely with residents of the Wendling and St Stephens Close Estate to deliver a new estate with bigger, brighter homes, improved streets and open spaces.
In July 2021, the Council undertook a resident ballot and 75% of residents voted 'Yes' to full redevelopment of the estate.
Camden remains committed to delivering new affordable social housing for the Wendling and St Stephen’s Close community. The Council is in the process of developing a proposal to deliver the redevelopment with a private development partner, which is anticipated to be presented to Camden’s Cabinet in 2025.
