Camden’s online portal allows you to make business rates or licensing payments and access a range of other services. Registration and login is required.

Business Rates

Business rates are set and levied nationally by government. Camden collects business rates on behalf of the government and returns them centrally. Although Camden has successfully lobbied for revaluation support for businesses impacted by business rates rises, our flexibility to set rates and discounts is limited by government.

Camden has joined other London councils and the Mayor in calling for a fairer and more locally controlled business rates system. This includes giving London the power to spend more money on the things that matter most to Londoners, including social care, affordable housing, infrastructure and support for businesses.

Licensing and Permits

To start-up or operate certain businesses, you may need to apply for a licence or permit from Camden Council.
