The planning application for the West Kentish Town Estate redevelopment has now been submitted - a major milestone in delivering the new homes and vibrant neighbourhood our community voted for.

Listen to West Kentish Town Residents explain why new homes are so important for them.

What does this mean?

The planning application is now open for comments from anyone who has an interest in the site of the redevelopment. There are many reports, lots of information and technical details.  We’d really like our residents to understand what this application means, so our team will be holding exhibitions at our drop-in space at 104a Queen's Crescent, where the project team will be present to answer questions.

  • Saturday 12th July 11am-3pm
  • Tuesday 15th July 11am-3pm
  • Thursday 17th July 5pm-8pm

What happens next?

Once the planning authority has received comments on the application, they will assess them and decide whether to grant planning permission later this year. If the application is approved, we will be able to start the work to deliver the much-needed new homes on the West Kentish Town Estate.
