We’re delighted to announce that @Ballymore and @Lateral have been chosen as our Joint Development Partners for the Camley Street CIP project!
The Community Investment Programme (CIP) is Camden's ambitious plan to tackle the housing crisis, improve living conditions and provide vital community spaces. Ballymore and Lateral will work together with the Council to deliver the project - namely around 350 new homes in the borough, around half of which will be affordable.
The new, sustainable neighbourhood will also contain over 200,000sq ft of Knowledge Quarter-led commercial space alongside the housing, creating around 1,000 job opportunities in the life sciences, technology and digital sectors accessible to local communities. This space will include light industrial and affordable workspace to support start-ups and small-to-medium-enterprises (SMEs).
Cllr Nasrine Djemai, Cabinet member for New Homes and Community Investment said: “Over the past few years, Camden Council has worked with residents and businesses nearby to shape a Shared Vision for Camley Street. We will work in partnership with Ballymore and Lateral to ensure they are committed to the same level of engagement and co-working with residents and businesses as we are. Their expertise and experience will help us move forward more quickly with this exciting project.”
