Camden residents, including young people from nearby Maiden Lane estate, have taken up the challenge of imagining Camley Street's future and expressing this through clay and graphics. The underpass artwork is a celebration of what’s great about the area now, along with a vision for the future.

The artwork is a combination of clay objects and their silhouettes made during a series of workshops designed by local artists Rochester Square. Each billboard in this tunnel represents a window into this imaginary world, showing daytime on one side and night on the other.

A series of artworks by different local communities will be hosted in this underpass gallery space over the coming years.
This artwork installation is part of the Camden Council’s Camley Street development. Camley Street is changing, and will become a highly sustainable new neighbourhood. It will provide 350 new homes, including homes for 200 families, and half of this space will be affordable; along with creating many new jobs and new green, open spaces for everyone to enjoy.
2 young residents from the 10-teens club wrote a poem about how they love living in Maiden Lane called "Our Home"
