The development is on track to become the UK's largest residential Passivhaus development when complete and in May 2018, it took a big step towards that end as the first block of 38 social rented homes achieved Passivhaus certification.
Passivhaus standard means residents will be moving into buildings designed to use a very low amount of heating and reduce carbon emissions at the same time.

Key facts
We’re planning to build over 500 homes on the Agar Grove estate. The regeneration of the estate will see the demolition of 112 low rise dwellings and refurbishment of 137 existing properties in Lulworth Tower, an 18-storey block.
In their place, 507 new homes will be created to much higher standards of design, space and environmental sustainability as well as an increase in community and commercial space.
