Camley Street - CIP

Camley Street

Camley Street will be a highly sustainable new neighbourhood including genuinely affordable homes, improved business space and job opportunities, underpinned by a bold vision for meaningful and imaginative placemaking. The project is set to include:

  • 350 new homes where there are currently none
  • Circa 200,000sqft of employment space
  • Jobs, training and skills for local residents
  • New streets to improve access to the area
  • New public green and open spaces

Camley Street is at the heart of Camden, in the Knowledge Quarter and neighbour to new developments in King’s Cross.

We are now actively searching for a Development Partner to bring forward this site.

Our plans for the area are ambitious, meaningful, and will be a place for imaginative regeneration where people and place can grow together. Through this, we will unlock opportunities for residents to access the cutting edge of what our borough has to offer, helping realise our We Make Camden objectives of making the borough a place for everyone and where no one gets left behind.

We have worked alongside the Camley Street Steering Group, a group of local residents and businesses, community organisations and local institutions to help develop a narrative for Camley Street that represents the needs of those in the area, and how we are looking for a development partner to help meet these local needs.
